The FTK business fields include test transmitter, FM transmitter and DAB transmitter systems, engineering services and even a whole broadcasting station. We offer our customers cost-effective transmitter operation through optimized design of each R&S FM transmitter with excellent efficiency above 60%. This is sound broadcasting at its very best. Our best FM transmitters, like the high power FM transmitter SR600E1, provide power classes from 2.5 kW up to 20 kW. A high power FM transmitter in solid-state technique with output powers from 2 kW to 10 kW, like the high power FM transmitter SR600E1, ensure sound broadcasting in large areas.
For FM monitoring our company developed the test transmitter FKDL, a FM Monitoring Demodulator.

Our DAB product portfolio includes DAB service and ensemble multiplexer (together with our partners), low-power, medium-power and high power DAB transmitter families, like the high power DAB transmitter NA7000. This high power DAB transmitter family is a new generation of liquid-cooled DAB VHF transmitters for digital audio broadcasting.
For digital audio signals in laboratory and production the R&S FTK offers the DAB test transmitter SDB60.
Datacasting is the symbiosis of digital broadcasting and modern information technology. The datacasting solutions from Rohde & Schwarz complement the tried-and-tested product range for broadcast technology.
For insertion and generation of Internet data in DVB transport streams we provide the R&S data inserter DSIP020 and the data inserter R&S DIP010. It supports services for the distribution of Internet and MHP resources.
